Roll Players: Storytelling Through Improv Day: Every Saturday from September 12th to October 31st, Showcase on week of November 7th Time: 10:00am-11:20am Age Range: 12 and Up Price: $15 Per Class or $95 For The Semester (8 Weeks + 9th Week Showcase) Description: Learn the techniques behind the performers of The PACC's Roll Players productions, including D&D LIVE, Harry Potter LIVE, Star Wars LIVE, and more! This class dives into long-form improvisation and teaches students how to create characters, maintain a character throughout a scene, develop voices and accents, build stories collaboratively, react naturally to unexpected situations, and confidently perform without a script. Students will explore techniques that apply not only to improv comedy, but also to theatre, acting, storytelling, and everyday confidence. Through games, scenes, character exercises, and long-form improvisation, students will learn to trust their instincts and work together as an ensemble. Best of all, the class will have the opportunity to put those skills into action by performing on stage as part of an actual Roll Players show! Teachers: David Corkill & The Roll Players Improv Troupe
