TO SCHEDULE, CONTACT: director@paccwaco.com Age Range: 8 and up Price: $30 per half-hour lesson, $60 per hour lesson Description: Private Acting Lessons: Private acting lessons provide individualized training for performers looking to strengthen their skills, prepare for auditions and productions, or simply become more confident and versatile actors. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s age, experience level, goals, and upcoming performance opportunities. Training may include emotional acting techniques, character development, improv, stage presence, projection and vocal delivery, movement, script and scene analysis, monologues, cold reads, audition and callback preparation, self-tapes, and acting for both stage and film. Film training can include adjusting performance for the camera, eyelines, framing, continuity, naturalistic acting, and understanding the differences between performing onstage and on screen. Whether a student is preparing for a specific role or audition, working to become more comfortable performing in front of others, or looking for ongoing acting training, private lessons offer focused one-on-one instruction in the areas that will benefit them most. Students will work on making stronger acting choices, connecting emotionally to material, developing believable characters, improving confidence and stage presence, and becoming more comfortable thinking and reacting in the moment. About the Instructor: David Corkill has taught theatre, music, and performing arts for over 15 years. He began directing productions at just 15 years old and has since directed more than 70 theatrical productions with performers of all ages. His experience includes acting instruction, audition preparation, musical theatre, youth theatre, directing, stage performance, and film. Teacher: David Corkill
