Service Description

Day: Every Saturday from September 12th to October 31st Time: 10:00-11:20am Age Range: 14 and up Price: $20/Class or $125/Semester (8 Weeks +9th Week Showcase) Description: An 80 minute studio intensive workshop course. Pick 1-3 songs best suited for your voice. (Try to select songs you are able to find backtracks so as to accompany you.) In this course you'll get practice performing in front of others, while learning in depth vocal techniques and strategies that you can carry with you for the rest of your life taylored to your voice. You and the instructor, Janay` Mallon will work together each weak to workshop your chosen piece(s) and fine tune them for a final Studio Recital at the end of the semester. You observe other singers in the studio through their alloted workshop time and get to carry more in-depth knowledge about vocal health suited to voices that differ from your own. Through this 8 week intensive, you'll develop the confidence to become a better performer, learn strategies on how to practice, and develop memories and comraderie you'll cherish for life. Vocal Studio combines individualized instruction with the benefits of learning alongside other singers. Students will have the opportunity to regularly perform, receive constructive feedback, observe different vocal techniques in action, and develop greater confidence both as singers and performers. The culminating Studio Recital gives participants a goal to work toward and a chance to showcase the growth they have achieved throughout the eight-week experience. Teachers: Janay Mallon
