Service Description

Day: Every Saturday from September 12th to October 31st Time: 11:30am-12:50pm Age Range: 14 and up Price: $20/Class or $125/Semester (8 Weeks +9th Week Showcase) Description: In this 8 week course, you'll work with an instructor to learn how to work with production equipment and software while working through various Plays as a small cast. We'll go through start to finish the production process of building a Radio Play in Podcast Form. This is a Co-creative adventure where all creativity is cherished. With the guidance of your creative director to pace and maneuver, at the end of the course you'll be able to share your group masterpiece(s) and cherish the recording(s) forever. Along the way, students will explore voice acting, character development, microphone technique, sound effects, recording, editing, and the unique challenges of telling a complete story using sound rather than visuals. Participants will gain experience both as performers and creators while collaborating to produce a finished piece of audio theatre that can be shared with friends, family, and audiences long after the course is complete.
