When a mother and daughter wake up to discover they have magically switched bodies, chaos quickly takes over in this energetic and heartwarming musical based on the beloved story.
Katherine Blake is a busy single mother trying to balance her career, family, and upcoming wedding. Her teenage daughter Ellie feels misunderstood, overwhelmed by school, and convinced her mother just doesn't get her. After a mysterious twist of fate causes them to swap bodies for a day, both are forced to walk in each other's shoes and experience life from a completely different perspective.
Filled with catchy songs, laugh-out-loud moments, touching family relationships, and valuable lessons about empathy and understanding, Freaky Friday is a musical the whole family will enjoy. As Katherine and Ellie race against time to reverse the switch before a wedding, a school event, and countless disasters unfold, they discover that sometimes the best way to understand someone is to become them.
