Folklorico 102
Learn Mexican folklore dancing at the PACC! This class is geared as an introductory class so that participants will learn some of Mexico's cultural traditions and history while burning calories. Class for males and females will review basic footwork, body posture, and movements. Students that also have danced folklorico previously are welcome to attend and latter portions of sessions will be slightly more challenging.
Participants should bring hard-soled shoes with a heel. Instructor, Ms. Pineda, from Vida y Danza will also have some to borrow. Instructor will also bring additional accessories such as practice skirts . Instructor is bilingual and Spanish will also be used in the course. Workshops for Kids and Teen/Adult.
