Discover the creative frontier at Epiphanies New Works Festival, presented by Wild Imaginings, a performing arts organization devoted to nurturing fresh theatrical voices. Since its inception in 2020, the festival has become known for its growth, rigor, and unique feedback-driven process that supports emerging playwrights
Each year, hundreds of submissions are narrowed down to eight semifinalists who receive developmental table readings. From these, four finalists are selected for staged readings during the festival, and one lucky playwright receives a full production the following year
This immersive event features four in-progress staged readings alongside the world premiere performance of the previous year’s winning script, providing audiences with a rare glimpse into plays still in development—and the opportunity to shape stories as they evolve
