Intro to Dance

Service Description

Introduce your child to the world of dance with our "Intro to Dance" class designed specifically for 3rd-7th graders*. Over the course of eight engaging sessions followed by a talent showcase, students will explore various dance styles including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. Each session is structured to build confidence, coordination, and creativity through fun and interactive lessons. Our experienced instructor will guide students through basic dance techniques, musicality, and expressive movement, creating a supportive and inspiring environment for young dancers to flourish. No prior dance experience is necessary—just bring enthusiasm and a love for moving to the music! Class Teacher: Alli Somes Classes are held every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM, From September 7th to November 9th (Except for September 14th), followed by a Talent Showcase on November 16th, where all of the 10:00 Saturday classes will show off what they have learned. Students don't have to attend all the class sessions to sign up; if they need to miss a class session, that's okay. As long as they attend the majority of the classes in the trimester, they will be able to perform at the talent showcase. $15 to book online in advance, $20 in person on the day of the class. *3rd-7th grade indicates that a student must be in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th grade, or the equivalent age, as of the 2024-2025 school year.
