About the event
Silent House Theatre Company is excited to bring you Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind on December 13th and 14th at The Performing Arts Community Center (PACC)! This cult-classic production from the Neo-Futurists is unlike anything you've ever seen—featuring 30 plays in 60 minutes, all performed in rapid-fire succession. No two performances are ever the same, as the order of the plays is chosen by the audience. The eclectic mix of comedic, dramatic, and absurd vignettes will leave you on the edge of your seat, wondering what will come next.
Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind pushes the boundaries of theatre, embracing spontaneity and creativity, while reflecting real, unfiltered life in all its unpredictability. Each of the short plays covers a different theme—some deeply personal, others hilariously bizarre, and everything in between. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions, with the performers racing against the clock to complete all 30 plays in one hour!
Don’t miss out on this high-energy, one-of-a-kind experience that breaks down the wall between actor and audience. Whether it’s your first time seeing the show or your tenth, Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind guarantees a unique, unforgettable night of theatre.
Two shows only! Tickets are available now for both performances on December 13th and 14th at The PACC in downtown Waco. Purchase your tickets through the Silent House website at silenthousetheatre.com.
As a special part of the event, we will also be hosting the Silent House SILENT Auction, offering an incredible selection of items and unique experiences up for bid. All proceeds from the auction will go to support Silent House Theatre Company and The PACC, helping us continue to provide extraordinary performances and opportunities to the community.
