About the event
This Folklórico Dance Workshop for kids is a joyful introduction to one of Mexico’s most colorful and expressive dance traditions. Students will learn foundational Folklórico steps, simple footwork patterns, and basic choreography inspired by traditional regional dances.
The workshop focuses on rhythm, coordination, and cultural appreciation while keeping the experience fun, active, and accessible for young dancers. No prior dance experience is required. Just comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and a readiness to move.
This workshop is perfect for kids who love to dance, enjoy learning about different cultures, or want to try something new in a supportive, energetic setting.
